Monte Casino is a prime example of how quality precast concrete pavers can provide aesthetically pleasing and durable surfaces. The project involved paving 7 000m2 of roads, taxi ranks, car parks and a piazza area with 80mm precast cobble pavers in 2002.
The site is a very popular venue drawing large numbers on a daily basis to its numerous entertainment, hotel and conference facilities. Despite heavy traffic volumes, which includes trucks, these paved roads and parking areas have worn extremely well and look as good, if not better today, than when they were first installed.
