Approx 33 000m² of 60mm interlocking charcoal pavers were used for the driveways and parking areas of this large computer consultancy. The contractor says he specified these paving blocks, because as he puts it, they are the best by a country mile.
He said the pavers are consistently excellent. They are very smooth with no aggregate protruding to cause a honeycombing or roughness. Moreover, he said they have no highs and lows which makes them a pleasure to lay. They were laid on 25-35mm of washed river sand screeded to the correct level for laying the pavers.
The combination of good quality pavers and the professional execution of paving makes for a very satisfactory end product which will provide many years of maintenance-free service.
